Anthology Synopsis: 21 short stories exploring themes of hope as resistance, including my submission, “Ghosts and Futures.”
Fun Fact: The character names in “Ghosts and Futures” are based on various Spanish words: Spera comes from “Esperanza”, Dolocanto’s name is made from “Dolor” (sadness) and “Canto” (from “cantar”, to sing), and Nuele and Evadía’s names create something new and meaningful when combined in a certain way. I’ll leave you to puzzle that out for yourselves and find its thematic resonance when the story comes out!
